CROSS BORDER STATEMENT

The car is allowed to be driven into the following countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia.

PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS

All major credit cards (Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa) issued in the drivers name are accepted.

ACCIDENTS / ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE

Customer must complete a report form at the time of accident. These are provided with the car. Depending on the circumstances we are entitled not to replace the vehicle.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age of driver is 21 years for all car groups. There is not any surcharge for young drivers.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver.

VALUE RESPONSIBILITY

If the keys and/or the car documents are not returned renter is responsible for the full value of the loss.

DRIVER LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

Full valid licence is required, which must have been possesed for at least one year. International or domestic licences in Roman alphabet are accepted.

FUEL POLICY

Vehicle is supplied with a full tank. Please return full or refuelling charges will apply.

All equipment is on request through reservations.

BOOKING DEPOSIT

When renting a car you will be required to put down a deposit. This deposit is intended to cover your excess, which constitutes your maximum liability in the event happening to the car during the hiring period. You will be required to pay for any damage, including tyre and windscreen, that occurs to the rental vehicle up to the excess amount. The standard procedure for this deposit is as follows:

The car hire company will gain an authorisation on your embossed credit card. This is done by contacting the bank, to ensure you have sufficient funds to cover the deposit. A manual credit card slip will be processed for the deposit amount, you will be required to sign this slip. The car hire company will retain this credit card slip until you return the hire car. In the case of the car being returned in good condition the deposit authorisation will be cancelled. If damage has been caused to the hire car you will be required to pay for this damage. (According to insurance excess)

CANCELLATION POLICY

Our policy regarding cancellations is that they must be made by e-mail to info@berelek.hu, and we will not accept cancellations by telephone. Your written cancellation request must be received within a minimum of 24 hours notice in advance of the start date of the rental.

CAR GROUPS / MODELS

Please note that particular models of vehicles are not guaranteed. It is the requested group and specifications (e.g. economy automatic) that are guaranteed.

CONDITION OF VEHICLE

Vehicle must be returned (normal wear & tear expected) in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer.

CONFIRMATION TIME

Please note: Rental car on request. Bér-Elek customer service will contact you within 2 days to confirm your reservation on request. Minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours).

VAT

20% VAT is included in the indicated rental fees.
